These home addition projects all have one thing in common. We are converting a high ceiling within an existing structure into a new room.

San Jose room addition features an existing loft that is converted into a bedroom while the high ceiling over the entry and living room are converted into an open loft for a home office or study area.

Chula Vista home addition features a high ceiling over the entry, living room and dining room. The conversion yields a walk-in closet for the master bedroom over the dining room and an open bonus room addition over the living room and entryway.

Irvine #1 project features a condominium over the dining room that is being converted into an open hallway space being used as a study area and second floor hang out space.

Irvine #2 room addition is a high ceiling over the dining room that is being designed and built into a new open mezzanine bonus room and desk niche. The existing loft is being converted into a bedroom by adding a new wall, closet and an access door to an existing bathroom.

Calabasas Home Remodel and room addition is the largest construction project in this episode. The high ceiling over the entire left side of the house was converted into a new giant great room with a bathroom. Below, all the structural walls were removed to create a massive open concept living space. The sunken living room and family room were brought up to level the floor. Steel beam construction and an experience general contractor with this specialty (our team) completed the work.

Westlake Village project shows a room addition and remodel in the small space over the front door. This project shows how much functional space is hanging above your head in these models with high entry ceilings. Easily converted into a new home office room.
